Experience

When our other employment attorneys are on the road or need specialized research, it’s Karen to the rescue. With over 20 years’ experience as an employment attorney, Karen is our go-to internal resource for tough questions. And it's not just our own staff who learn from Karen. She edits and writes for our semi-monthly employment law newsletter. She is the final word in legal review of the approximately 300 Legal Guides, Model Forms, and Model Policies available on our member website.

Karen has overall responsibility for the legal compliance of our affirmative action program (AAP) services for employers with federal contracts. She's an active participant and past chairperson and secretary for the Northwest Industry Liaison Group in Seattle, which facilitates communication between industry and government on affirmative action issues.
